Oasis es una banda británica de rock formada en Manchester a principios de los años noventa. Estuvo compuesta originalmente por el vocalista Liam Gallagher, el guitarrista Paul Arthurs, el bajista Paul McGuigan y el baterista Tony McCarroll, bajo el nombre de The Rain. Noel Gallagher se incorporó posteriormente como guitarrista y compositor principal, adoptando el actual nombre de Oasis.

Musicalmente sus principales influencias han sido, según ellos mismos, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones y The Who. También han nombrado, entre otros, a The Stooges, The Kinks, The Smiths y Neil Young.

El Unplugged de Oasis en MTV de Inglaterra de 1996, lo cantó Noel porque Liam tenía la garganta irritada, y después se descubrió que estaba bien y solo era que no le gustaba cantar en unplugged...

segun wikipedia dice q pearl jam no tiene unplugged, pero no es q no tenga sino que MTV no saco este disco y lo reservo que por que en el momento en que lo grabaron no era un CD rentable(osea que no hiba a generar billete) y quedo como proyecto fallido, pero gracias a un audaz persona logro liberarlo y subirlo ala red y pss lo de mas es historia y aqui esta XD....

Chinese Democracy es el nombre del sexto álbum de la banda de hard rock Guns N' Roses. Fue lanzado el 23 de noviembre de 2008 en Estados Unidos. Es el primer álbum con temas originales de la banda después de los lanzamientos simultáneos de Use Your Illusion I y Use Your Illusion II en 1991,

Chinese Democracy es quizá el disco más esperado en la historia de la música. El primer disco de canciones originales de Guns n' Roses, desde que se publicarán los fantásticos Use Your Illusion en 1991.

Axl Rose se ha quedado al frente del grupo, tras las discusiones y la creación de otros miembros como Slash de una nueva banda, Velvet Revolver.

Axl ha comentado sobre el disco: "Estoy tratando de hacer algo distinto. Algunos arreglos se asemejan a Queen. Algunos dirán que no suena a Axl Rose, que no suena como Guns n' Roses. Pero estoy seguro de que van a gustar por lo menos unas pocas canciones".
